Fiesta in the Park

Today was an annual arts and craft show downtown called Fiesta in the Park. Mom, Gabriella and I went. Phew, was it hot!!! Gabriella HATES wearing hats(and incidentally, all her adorable bows and hairclips now too). So, we snapped a few pics before she ripped it off of her head. Notice she is holding her hairbrush in the pictures. That's the only reason she put up with the hat for any period of time.

Her are some pictures I took yesterday. She still won't take those first steps on her own, though I know she could if she tried. And just so you know, that's only one week's worth of grass growth!! It got mowed today.

Only a matter of time before the leaf got the taste test.

So cute!! Alex has the same hairbrush, and he also loves to munch on it. I'm still jealous of the warm weather. Can you send a little of it up north?

My daughter hated hats and barrettes of any sort from about birth-2. She still doesn't care for the hairstyling, but she does love a fashionable hat as long as there's a mirror nearby.

Can't believe how big Gabriella is!

I love seeing all your pretty pictures in the grass especially since I am here in the mud pit country where nothing is green. G is so cute and funny. She has such a little personality...I love that.

Gabrielle is doing the same thing as Gabriella, wont keep a bow in her head for anything. I had to cut bangs because she couldnt see. She looks so cute standing in the grass, your lawn looks beautiful,

That is too cute!! Maya has always hated hats and not she will not leave the bows in. Oh, no it has not sunk in that I don't have to give her back.

I'm telling you what...our girls are two of a kind. Gia rips her bows out now and even hates to have her hair brushed. She'd rather eat it, she has the lion brush, too.

Send some of that weather up here.

Did you girls find any neat pottery? I'm going to an arts & crafts fair in Centennial Park May 5th. I'll think of you girls :-)

Enjoy the last few days of Miss G not walking. Once she does it, you'll be running after her.
That's what I keep telling myself anyway.

I will trade you some HOT for the SNOW we had yesterday. Savannah does not like hats or hoods either. She puts up with her hairbows and clips for a time. It depends on her mood. I know what you mean about the steps. We get one or two with a walker or holding my hands. It is all a confidence thing and it is fine with me. I don't know if I want her to walk--ha, ha. I just know it will make life harder before it gets easier. They will do it in their own time.

We have some of those hats, I hope O leaves them in. If I put her hair in a little pony tail on top of her head and she is busy doing something and no one reminds her it is there, she will leave it in, but as soon as she remembers, it is out with the hair thing.
