FFF - Summer Lovin'

Today's FFF theme is "Summer Lovin'". I must say, I don't have any new pics for this theme. It's been raining quite a bit here for the last week and so we've kept to indoor activities. Even when not raining, it's been gloomy looking outside.

So, here's a couple of repeats.

Tagged - Eight Cute Things Miss G Says

Ellie tagged me a while back and I'm finally doing it!!!! I'm to list 8 cute things that Gabriella says.

1. Nannie, nannie, yellow nannie - This is what she screams every morning when she wakes up until you give her a banana. That girl LOVES, LOVES, LOVES her nannies. Ferdy gets her up in the morning and he gives her a banana. Sometimes, he lets her into the bedroom where I'm attempting to sleep just a little more and she will walk up to the side of the bed and yell "Nannie" in my ear. Well, good morning to you too!

2. Yogie, yogie, yogie - If she's not screaming for a banana, she wants yogurt!

3. Big hug - Whenever I want a hug, I always say "Big hug". So, now she comes up and holds her arms out and says "Big Hug". I'll never say no to that one. She says it to Bing too as she's practically strangling him.

5. Toot, toot- She says this when she, um, passes gas. It's pretty funny and she always acts so surprised. After she does it, she says "I sorry", though we're trying to teach her "Excuse me".

6. I see you! - She loves to play peek-a-boo and say this from behind a book or her hands or something.

7. Gabba - This is her name according to her!

8. Go Go Go - This is what she says when she wants to watch Beatles videos(which is all the time) because of the line "You say stop and I say go, go, go" from Hello, Goodbye.

And some pictures from the last week.

Someone got into the stickers....

She's trying to get Kera out from under the table.

I put her hair up in a ponytail the other day. She still needs quite a bit more to pull this look off!

Catching Up Again!

So, it's been too long since I posted again. So, these are catch-up pictures.

She almost looks like she's posing for a mugshot or something here.

Just chillin' with Bing.

She kinda liked this watermelon.... (and yes, she does need her bangs trimmed!!! What can I say.... chicken me). She ate 3 big slices of it and would have kept going for who knows how many. The girl loves her fruit. Haven't found any she won't devour (even blackberries - they're kind of tart, ya know?).

Doesn't she look like she is hanging ten on the alligator??

Happy Father's Day to Daddy

Wishing all the daddies out there a Happy Father's Day. As we usually do for these holidays, we hung out by the pool today. Later, I am cooking Ferdy his requested steak and mashed potatoes for dinner.

A few pics of daddy and Gabriella hanging out.

Bing's #1 Fan

On Friday, Bing had a visit from one of his biggest fans. Kim (a good bud of Sarah's) was in town on her way back to Nashville from a vacation. She came by to meet Bing (oh and visit with Miss G and myself too!).

I didn't get any pictures of it, but Kim turned Miss G on to Chapstick and she was having so much fun putting it on. She also wanted to make sure everyone got plenty on too!

Thanks for visiting with us Kim (and thanks for the yummy Thai lunch too!). Next time we're in Nashville, I'll see if I can sneak Bing into a suitcase and bring him for a visit.

My Fashionista Strikes Again

I was getting ready after my shower the other morning and Gabriella was in the bedroom while I was in the bathroom. Well, she had opened my sock drawer, pulled these socks out (that I got for snow skiing since no, we don't wear those here in FL!), put them on and then went into my closet and put some sandals on. I almost bust a gut when I saw her. It cracks me up that they look like legwarmers on her. Of course, I had to run and get the camera.

Awesome Opportunity to Help

My blogger buddy Tricia is by far one of the most generous, giving people I know (well, come to think of it, we've not met, but I sure feel as if I know her!). Seriously, if you read her blog, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

Anyway.... Please go over and visit her blog here for an amazing way you can help brighten the upcoming Christmas holidays for some children who will likely spend their childhood in an orphanage in Guatemala. And just by helping out, you're entered to win some FABULOUS prizes.

Tricia, you rock!!!

And you didn't think I'd leave without at least posting a couple of cute pics, did you?

FFF - Messy Spaces

Today's FFF theme is Messy Spaces or Disorderly Conduct. This proved a challenge. Not because there isn't a lot of mess around here. But, because I don't take pictures of it!!!!!!!!!!!

So, I am just posting pics of Gabriella's messy face eating her yogurt this morning. Actually, I'm proud to say it isn't all that messy because she is getting pretty good with eating with her spoon finally. She was able to even scrape the yogurt out of the bottom this morning.

Operation Toddler Bed Update

I am amazed to report that the transition to the toddler bed was seamless. She went right to sleep last night and this morning, she was just laying there talking and playing when I went in her room.

Today at naptime, I expected the worst. Again, to my amazement, I put her down and she went right to sleep(heck, even less fussing than she usually does) and I had to go wake her up at 5pm after 3 hrs. She woke up and stirred around and made a little noise several times and just went back to sleep.

Tonight, she was excited to get her bath and go to bed. So, all these months of this worry being in the back of my mind so far has been for nothing. Now, of course, I know that we may hit some bumps down the road, but for now, I get to count my blessings once again in the sleep department.

I'm still contemplating what we will do for travel. We have a week-long beach trip coming up in September and then Guatoberfest in October. My plan had been the pack-n-play. But, if she's doing fine in the bed, I may just bring the inflatable bed rail that I'm using and hopefully with the bed against a wall, she would be fine.

I tried to sneak in and get a picture before she woke up, but it didn't work.

Poor cat never gets a break.
