Saturday in the Park

OK, I'm dating myself with the title. Anybody?????

We had a nice day today. We went to have some lunch and then took Gabriella to the park to swing for a little bit. They have an AWESOME playground that she is going to love when she gets a little older. The only bad part was the lovebugs were terrible. Ick... We ended up with them in the car when we left.

Gabriella had mac 'n cheese for lunch again. Man, she loves that stuff. Yeah, I know not the healthiest, but she eats much better when we're at home. But, when we go out it's not always possible.

So, first I give you the before - notice the nice clean hair.

During ......

And after. Her hair was nasty!! Ferdy took her in the bathroom and tried to clean her up, but it was a greasy mess the rest of the day. He says it's my fault because I had just, not 5 seconds before said she was going to put her hands in her hair before it was over. She does that a lot any more after eating. Yuck.

At the park

And a few pictures from yesterday. God, I love that smile!

She still won't take any more than a few steps on her own, but she practically runs if you hold her hand. She drags me all over the house and is very persistent about where she wants to go.

Didn't you know that Macaroni and Cheese is awesome conditioner Mommy? Like, Duh!

You're bringing back good memories with the walking stories. Such a big girl! :-)

She will be running, on her own in no time! Cameron almost skipped walking and went straight to running.

Kevin does the same thing every meal almost. I hate it. I almost posted a picture of him doing the toilet papering, but he was on the potty at the time and you could see to much in the picture. very cute though.

Even with macaroni and cheese hair, she is gorgeous!

Enjoy it while you can. Trust me!!!

One more thing our girls have in common...wiping their hands in their hair:)

As far as your title, I saw Chicago in concert with Earth, Wind and Fire two years ago and it was the best concert ever. That Verdeen(from EWAF) is a freak, though.

I LOVE that song. Now I am going to be humming it for the rest of the night.

She's going to be cruising around in no time! Just you watch out!

Even with greasy cheesy hair, she's still adorable!

Chicago was high school for me - that's how darn old I am.

She does have a beautiful smile. Mac and cheese is great, my Gabrielle seems to prefer yogurt-gross.

Oh, I love Mac N Cheese too!!! It's definitely the "in" thing right now!

Gabriella looks so tiny and cute in that swing, even more so with the mac and cheese hair gel.

Drat, Kim beat me to the Chicago reference. I got your dating right here. ;)

Ah yes, the joys of mac and cheese. I swore Jarrah would eat only meals with all four food groups when we ate in restaurants--I think that lasted two months. ;) Mac and cheese is our default now--she likes it, and it keeps her busy and QUIET for the longest amount of time. ;) Don't judge me! ;)

My friends and I say that our daughters have found some very interesting new hair syling products. Ha Ha! Can't keep them clean for a second after eating. I change Savannah's clothes 3 times a day! Part of being a toddler. We also are a big fan of the Dora disposable place mats!!! Great invention! Love that smile too!

She is so stinking cute - even with mac 'n cheese in her 'do!!

And seriously, I take like 4 pictures every 2 weeks. This is making me feel like a crappy mommy - you have so many cute pictures!! I will have to bust out the camera more!

P.S. Go to Crispers and have her try the kids' cheese quesadillas. They cut them in little rectangles that the little ones can hold and chew on. They are whole wheat, really good and no cheesy sauce in their hair!
