FFF - Bing the Supervisor

This proves that Bing has to supervise everything around here.

Gotta love this look!

I went ahead and bought a potty seat yesterday. I figured I'd just do this slowly and see what happens. I think it might be a bit soon, but you never know. I'm really in no rush and don't plan on trying to make it happen in a week or anything. The idea of cleaning out a little potty grossed me out and I didn't think my mover and shaker would stay on something so easy to get up from, so I got the seat to go on the big potty. Much to my surprise, the first time on the seat yesterday, after about 15 minutes, she pooped!!! Then, today, I sat her on it again when I thought she might need to go(she had said it a couple of times to me and I thought she already had, but she hadn't). After about 10 minutes, she went again. This time, it startled her and she couldn't get off that seat fast enough. Hopefully, she'll get past being scared when something happens.

Tonight, I sat her on it for a while hoping maybe she'd pee, but no luck. Bing enjoyed checking it out as you can see.

Way to go Miss G!!! That is great. Alex hasn't gone again since his first pee - but like you - I'm not pushing it and I'm just waiting to see what happens.

OMG! Those pictures are fantastic! Bing seems more like a human than a cat and seems to really love Miss G! And great job on the potty too, Gabriella! Two days in a row is an excellent start! I am going to have to show Sophie this picture as a little motivator!

Best of luck on the potty training. Maegan was doing so well & overnight she quit trying. She screamed everytime we'd try or mention it. Now she's slowly starting to do it on her own. Can you believe b-day #2 is almost here?? :(

You know, Sabrina had some interest in the potty at around 21 months, and I WISH I'd been consistent with it, because she would have been trained a whole YEAR sooner.

But you know your daughter best.

I'm with you, sister. Cleaning out the little potty has made me gag more than once. Why is it so much grosser than diapers? One of life's little mysteries.

great news on the potty training front.

That is awesome! We have not made that progress yet. Like you said, slow and no pressure.

Good luck--it is a process like everything.

Glad Bing is there to supervise. You need that kind of help. As long as he doesn't teach Gabriella to use the liter box--Ha Ha!

What is it with cats and watching people go to the bathroom. Between my two cats and Mackenzie I haven't had a private bathroom experience for 13 years.

I'm with you on the potties sitting around the house and having to clean them out. We're getting the same kind you did.
