Roll Call for Guatoberfest!

First, if you haven't already heard, one of the main organizers for Guatoberfest, Julia, suffered a huge loss yesterday. Her much-loved dad passed away suddenly. My heart aches for her since I know just how close-knit her family is. Please visit her blog here and leave her a comment to let her know you are thinking of her and her family.

So, now, who's going to Guatoberfest????? I can't wait to reunite with some blogger buddies we met last year and meet lots more this year. There are at least 100 kids under 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh.My.Gosh. We decided to break up the trip and are leaving for Savannah Thursday afternoon and then we'll do the other half on Friday.

I've been terrible about taking pictures lately, so the only new ones I have are a couple from this past weekend. We went to a small art festival and Gabriella couldn't resist getting out of the stroller to check out the fountain. She had to be bribed with a balloon to get back in!

And, just so you can see what I deal with on a daily basis with naughty Bing.... Yes, that is a roaster he's sitting in. Hmmmm, just the right size. Ferdy said there's an Alf joke in there somewhere(gosh, tell me you remember that show and I'm not that old!).

I walked around the other side to get him out and he hunkered down and thought he'd take a snooze.

Alf never really made me laugh at the time but pulling out an Alf joke now always gets a chuckle out of me!

So sad I won't be there! Next year I hope!

Well, I know you're already in the car headed north, but I have to comment on Alf. Not only do I know him, but my 2 cats are named Kate and Alley. Don't even tell me how many years ago that show was airing!
Hope you have a great time in MB..maybe next year for us.

Bribery is NOT a bad thing. She looks adorable and patriotic in her red, white, and blue.
