Sit... Stay...
I've been lamenting of late that Gabriella is still not sitting up on her own for very long. She's come a long way in just the last day or two. She really sat up well this morning and was able to balance for quite some time. She did still eventually topple over, but she's getting stronger. I guess I'm having normal mom fears.
She has a new toy that we got out last night. It has lots of music and lights and she loves it! Seeing her get so excited over things is such a joy.

Yay! Good job Gabriella :) You're right Alleen. Just normal mommy fears.

She'll be fine. She was very small when she was born. My 1st 2 daughters crawled at 5 3/4 months and Lexi didn't until almost 8 months and I nearly had a cow. Apparently my other 2 were extremely early crawlers. I think it was due to the fact that they never had an ounce of fat. No leg rolls or anything. Lexi was "normal early". Gabriella is right on target with sitting up.
What a big girl she is now. I have read that most Guatemalan babies do things a little later because they are held a lot and are very small at birth. She looks like she will be just fine to me.
Watch out Baby G's four legged siblings cause it won't be long now. You can run...but there will be no hiding from your sister!
Just 10 more sleeps, Al!

I think she is perfectly fine - she is very bright - you can see it in her eyes! JOhn-Bryan did a few things very early - but here he is - past the one year mark- and NOT walking. I am not worried a bit - all babies do things in their own time. Your baby girl will do eveything when she is ready to.
Enjoy her staying a baby as long as she will -
trust me
She will be walking out the door to college before you know it - It all goes by faster than you could ever dream:)

Michelle -- The full-time mommy gig is exhausting, but the best job I've ever had!!! I love it(99% of the time anyway)
I love her big eyes! :)
She is obviously proud of herself and should be.
You have an outragously cute and healthy baby.
She looks good to me. I love her little outfit. Second pic is my fav.

She is doing great! Maegan just woke up one morning and was able to keep her balance. It was really weird! We got Maegan one of the dancing/singing Christmas stuffed animals at Wal-Mart. She loves it!! She smiles so big and bounces when we turn it on! She is so fun to watch! Our lives used to be so boring!

I've been following your blog and thought I'd say hi. She is just beautiful, and don't worry, she'll do everything she's supposed to do when she's good and ready!
Look at those eyes!
What fun you must be having watching that girl learn and grow!
