It's Official

This morning we had our appointment with the judge for the Recognition of Foreign Adoption. Readoption isn't required in Florida, but this allows us to get a Florida birth certificate for Gabriella.

It's not required in the state of Montana either, but we chose to readopt as well. The neat thing was that our judge turned out to be a friend of ours, who is also an adoptive dad.

HA HA!

His name is "Dickey"!

In all sincerity, congratulations. So when she grows up and loses her birth certificate 3 days before her wedding, it will be much easier for her to get her marriage license than it was for me!!

Congratulations. I think it is required in NJ, but I would have done it anyway.

Congratulations! We just had ours done also, and it really feels final now, even though we did not have to readopt either, in Texas!
She is such a beauty!

Congratulations! It's good to have as many pieces of paper as possible. We have quite a collection already, don't we? ;)
