Mommy, Does This Star Make My Butt Look Big?

Moments after this picture was taken... much bigger issues on those pants than the star. I guess the prunes I've been feeding Gabriella to fix a certain "issue" worked. Too well.... Of course, this had to happen while I was holding her. So, I stripped her of her pants which resulted in her legs and feet being covered. Used copious amounts of wipes to try to get the majority of it off of her so as to not have her spread more around as I tried to figure out how to hold her hands, get said diaper off and not end up covered in any more of it than I already was. All the while I was thinking there must be a technique to this(suggestions veterans?). By the time I was done, she went into the tub, I stripped my clothes off and practically took a bath myself.

I put my clothes in the washing machine and came back to this....

Doesn't Bing need a special suit if he's going to be handling toxic waste?

*laugh* That's a good one, Ferdy.

Oh, poor Alleen...just reading that makes me ill. Explosions are NOT fun. God bless prunes, but MAN alive. WHEW.

That Cat is the craziest thing I ever saw. The baby is so cute and getting so big. When Madisyn comes home we will have to get together and meet for lunch or something.

Oh lucky you! Unfortunately I am a veteran on this situation (happened way too often) and I'm sorry, but I don't have any advice. It looks like you handled that yucky situation just smashingly! Or rather...smushingly! :)

Yuck, we've had some explosions but not at the "code red" level , like that. I bet Gabriella's feeling alot better now.

These blow outs are daily events at my house and I STILL haven't figured out how to handle them! I remember one time, Jackson was covered and Ava was screaming because she was hungry. But I was too entrenched in the explosion to attend to Ava. Jackson was screaming because he was getting attacked by baby wipes while I was running back and forth to the bathroom to run the tub. I kept thinking my neighbors would call the cops because of all the screaming. Then, at one point, I thought I heard a knock at the door and I said to myself, "Thank God the cops are finally here and can help me with this s#$%!" No such luck--I was hearing things. had to handle the catastrophe all on my own. Such fun!

Sorry I just wrote you a novel!

Well, to look on the bright side, at least it happened at home. :-)

Did I ever tell you the story of the exploding poop when John was changing Russ's diaper? To make a long story short, John learned the hard way that it is better to use the diaper as a shield instead of just jumping out of the way.

Hang in there, diapers only last for a few years. (Maybe you could train Bing to handle this? He really seems interested in "helping").
