Getting a Little Culture

This weekend was one of the area's really big art shows/festivals. The weather yesterday was horrible and it rained all day and was cold. Today started out looking icky, but finally cleared and so we went. It was a bit chilly in the shade, but when the sun came out, it was nice. Fortunately I think because of the weather, it wasn't as horribly crowed as other times I've been. It was still interesting negotiating the crowds with a stroller, but we managed. Gabriella really loves to be outside and to have lots of people and activity around.

I was able to restrain myself and not buy yet another piece of pottery(my weakness). I did get a nice pair of earrings for my mom's birthday in April(don't worry, she doesn't have a computer, so I'm not spoiling the surprise).

I love those kinds of things. Everytime craft fairs come around here in the spring, I go. The San Gianero festival will be too crowded to push a stroller through.

LOVE pottery...I'm a pottery freak! I love art festivals but they are usually crowded - how nice that you could get a stroller through?

Art festivals are fun! I have too many hobbies, so I can't start anything new, but if I could....it would be pottery!! Love it!!

Baby G, you must keep you your Mommy's and my tradition. We buy a piece of pottery from each art festival we would attend together. The last one...matching pottery!

Love ya,

Cult-cha, as my mom calls it is GREAT. My mom always took us to plays, musicals, art shows- it really was great. Little Miss G will benefit from it in ways you'll never understand. So much fun!

That first picture is just TOO cute. (ok - not that the picture with you in it is bad...) I also love art shows. There is a really nice one here in the fall - I could never navigate a stroller through it. I guess if we take Alex next fall, he will have to be in a carrier! (oh - and I'm glad you guys are ok!)

Savannah just outgrew that same outfit! I was heartbroken. And yes, Savannah has a lot of clothes too, but I cleared out so now I can squeeze some more in. Fudgie is usually hiding or runs away from the camera, but I got him when he was sleeping. Glad you guys are ok after the tornados.
