First Trip to the Zoo

Today, we took Gabriella to the zoo for the first time. Can I just say holy moly gosh it was hot and humid? Aye yay. Can I also say we sure do need a real zoo in this town? Sigh....

I was a little late with the camera to be able to post an X-rated picture of the two leopards... Man, they needed to get a room - 'nuf said.

She and Bing were playing tug-of-war with her new leopard purse from the zoo.

A purse and a remote control. What more does a girl need?

And here are some pictures from the last couple of days. My photo shoots in the grass are much harder than they used to be since she won't sit still.

Gabriella now has a fascination with hairbrushes. If she sees one, she immediately pats her head and wants the brush. She will brush her hair and then likes to brush yours too.

I'm not sure what these two were looking at outside.

She kept the hat on at the zoo I see. That bright pink looks gorgeous on her. They don't care if it is a lame little zoo. They still love it.

LOVE the photo shoot in the grass. That dress is just beautiful. She looks like a princesa for sure! Savannah and the cat can look out the window for a long time and I have no idea what they see.

Savannah also likes her hairbursh and will brush her hair and mine and then try to brush her teeth with it. That is when we take it away. It is a brush, but a different kind.

A trip to the zoo AND a leopard print purse? Sounds like a fabulous weekend. :)

I still love the grass photo shoots -- even if she is on the move now...

Y'all come visit us anytime, you hear? We've got a real zoo. :)

I find Gab's expressions to be uncannily similar to Jarrah's.

Al - How our lives have changed, and for the better I might add. Two years ago you would have never been concerned about the caliber of zoo in O'Town. And me...I'm now glued to the Weather Channel beginning mid-week to see if we'll have rain for the weekend or not.
