I Got Nothing ....

I don't have many pics to share. I am going to call the camera place and hopefully drive there this week. Without a flash, I haven't been taking pics inside....

Here are a few I took last week. I got Gabriella a sand and water table. Can I just say that she loves it?!!!!!!!!!!!! To the point of throwing a big hissy when it was time to come inside. I knew she would like it since she loves, loves, loves to pour things back and forth. Her OT said it was a great toy to help her with sensory input. It's definitely the longest she's ever concentrated on one task. Usually, even if it's something that she enjoys, she doesn't spend long before something else catches her attention and she's off. She spent a good 30-45 minutes of undivided time playing with this. I would have let her continue except it was naptime.

I do have to ask though - why did they put holes in the bottom of these pots???? I finally had to take them away because she would hold them away from the box and the sand went all over outside the box.

I love the idea of those tables but I just know that Sabrina would put the sand into the water and then we would have a mud table.

I agree with Michelle. I think you should be glad that she hasn't figured out what happens when sand meets water yet. ;) It does look like fun.

Miss G,
How about we make a date for Thursday, 4/22, to make a sand castle? Lunch too?!
Love you,
Auntie S

P.S. Al, just 10 more sleeps :-)

Look at her concentration and how much fun she is having. She seems to like the hole on the bottom of the pots. I debated getting Savannah a table like that today and now I am definitely going to go back and get it tomorrow.

what brand is that I am on the market for one? I have seen a couple at toys r us. I think the holes are if you want to sift through to find things buried. Like searching for gold.

Alexis has this table too and she loves it. But mommy chickened out on the mud thing so we have sand on both sides. I also had to put some clear packing tape over the umbrella hole since she thought it was fun to pour the sand down the hole. Sun, Fun & Sand that is what Florida is all about anyway.

Miss G looks like she is loving that table

I am scared of those tables. My child would make the biggest mess no doubt.

Those sand and water tables are great! Cohen might have to wait until next year though because I'm sure he would eat the sand right now. :)

I really should get Sophia one of the tables too, my problem is storing it some where. Sophia toys are taking over my house! As always Miss Gabi is adorable!

Maya would be making MUD!!! I did look at those but I decided to just go with the sand box. Maya loves to just sit in the sand and play.
